Earning by liking, subscribing and commenting
Three of the four ways to earn are done by hand on Earn. One task at a time, and each one is the same three steps: open it on YouTube, do the thing, come back and confirm.
| What you do | When the credits land | |
|---|---|---|
| Like | Like the video | Straight away |
| Subscribe | Subscribe to the channel | Once YouTube confirms it — usually minutes |
| Comment | Leave a comment | Once YouTube confirms it — usually minutes |
Two conditions decide whether the work counts:
Your subscriptions have to be public. A private subscription is a real subscription we cannot see, and one we cannot see cannot be paid for. The counts we need to see, and link the channel you subscribe with.
A comment has to read as written by a person. Some campaigns hand you the exact words; the rest leave it to you. Capitals, punctuation and emoji do not have to match. Anything that looks automated is removed by YouTube and earns nothing.
Then a short pause. About nine minutes before another task of the same type comes up — the other types stay available the whole time, so ticking all three keeps work arriving.
Views are not done this way: a client does those.
