How it works
YTMonster is an exchange. You do things for other people's channels, and other people do them for yours. Credits are how the two sides keep score.
The words we use
Some of these mean something specific here.
- Credit
- The unit of exchange. Earned by doing actions for others, spent on having actions done for you. Credits are not money and cannot be cashed out.
- Legacy tokens
- Credits issued years ago under an older, more generous exchange rate. They spend exactly like ordinary credits, but the standard balance is always used first.
- Exchange
- One completed action you did for someone else. Exchanges are weighted: a subscription counts for more than a view, because it takes longer.
- View-hour
- 3,600 seconds of watch time — the unit views are priced and paid in. A 150-second view is 1/24 of a view-hour, so a longer watch costs more and earns more.
- Campaign
- A request for a set amount of one action on one video or channel. Paid for up front out of your balance.
- Campaign slot
- One campaign you can have running at a time. Your membership includes a number of them, and more can be bought.
- Priority slot
- Marks one campaign to be delivered ahead of ordinary ones. Slots move: switch it off on one campaign and on for another whenever you like.
- Client session
- One machine running the viewer client. More sessions means more views delivered at once — for you and by you.
- Rank
- Bronze, Silver, Gold or Diamond. Sets how much you can order at a time, and whether an idle balance shrinks. Reached through activity, referrals or lifetime spend.
- Forever rank
- A rank reached through total spend rather than activity. It does not expire.
- Grade
- How many consecutive months you have held a membership, capped at five. A higher grade means a larger monthly bonus.
- Active referral
- Someone you introduced who has reached Silver or above and joined within the last 30 days. Only active referrals count towards your rank and your delivery speed.
- Delivery rate
- How much of what is delivered YouTube ends up counting. It is never 100%.
