Why was my campaign refunded

A campaign is refunded rather than left to sit when it cannot finish. The usual reasons:

• The video became unavailable — deleted, made private, or blocked in too many places.

• The target could not be resolved — a channel or handle that no longer exists.

• The account fell to Bronze. Rank follows activity: an account that stops contributing to the exchange cannot keep campaigns running, because the credits behind them were earned on the promise of taking part. How to get back out of it.

Refunds go back to the balance they were paid from.
